Sometimes we don't know what we need help with, but that we need help. This is our 2 hour open workshop night, where we'll discuss whatever you want to discuss! Everyone is able to ask about any topic and we'll go over it all! Below are examples about the different subjects that we regularly cover. *Make sure to bring a laptop/materials related to your art/craft & a Sweater (if you get cold easily). Also, please do not wear floral perfume, you'll kill your instructor. <3 Social Media: There are so many ways to promote yourself out there and one of them is through social media. You don’t have to use every single one, that’ll actually hurt you more than help. In this comprehensive course we aim to help you enhance your online presence through social media. The course will assist you in identifying the social media platforms you are comfortable with and provide guidance on how to effectively utilize them. Additionally, the course will explore other media options that can further maximize your online presence. Turn Your Hobby Into A Business: People tend to ask us if we’ll have a real job too, besides our “hobby”. Well, let’s show them that this IS our real job! We’re focused on helping you monetize your “hobbies” and transform them into successful businesses. We’ll cover various aspects such as identifying the types of items to sell, setting up an online platform, learning about branding, utilizing social media, and even setting up a physical table or booth. We aim to guide you through a journey of working at Anime & Comic Conventions. Motivation/Find Your Niche: Sometimes we get stuck in our own heads and can’t think of what to create next. Or we can’t grasp what’s the latest fad in the anime/comic world and need some inspiration. You will be pushed into different horizons to find out what direction you keep leaning towards and help you delve deeper in that direction until you find your vocation. Or if you just want to be around others and get some accountability to your creations, we’re there for you. College/Business Portfolio Assistance: There's more to being an artist than just going to college, why not attract businesses too? We'll help you build your portfolio with your specific skill or interest to showcase your work online. The program will teach you how to set up your portfolio on Wix, including creating a contact form. Additionally, you will learn which examples to include in your portfolio based on your chosen vocation and goals.
